Okay, so I really like this lamp. The rosewood has a sort of monastic aesthetic appeal, and the yellowed glow of the bulb through the rice paper is very tranquil. I actually don’t own one myself but have given it as a gift to several people, and plan to buy one at the first opportunity. I’ve examined two or three of these on arrival and all were in perfect condition. Great present. I wish someone would give me one, but I guess I’ll have to buy it for myself.
Then I will polish it with beeswax and lemon oil. It’s that sort of lamp.
