Some people don’t understand the point of “Clean” fragrances. They are not pretty, feminine, girly or romantic. They are just CLEAN. They smell like soap. If you really want to smell like soap, you can with the “Clean” line of fragrances. Soap is all I ever wanted to smell like, not jasmine, roses, amber, ylang-ylang, chocolate, figs, vanilla or whatever else may be the latest trend.

Until Ivory decides to bottle its scent (my lifelong favorite), I’ll stick with “Clean.”

Since I am the first to review this, may I describe each scent in more detail…I’ll try to be descriptive, not poetic, so you can decide for yourself.

Clean – slightly fruity-lemony, Skittley, but not too sweet. Wish it lasted longer.

Clean Ultimate – much like Clean with orange blossomy topnotes, kind of like how Emeraude would smell if it were targeted for upscale consumers. This is my favorite of the set.

Clean Warm Cottom – laundromat at its best. To me, a high compliment. Again, you either want to smell like soap…or in this case detergent…or go check sonme other fragrance line. Warm Cotton is crisp and makes a great work smell. You feel as if you’ve just put on a warm starched blouse all day.

Clean Shower Fresh – Almost romantic…smells like a freshly drained bathtub after a bubble bath. Extremely clean and soapy, not like bar soap but more like liquid body wash.

This set includes 4 1-ounce bottles…actually a very good deal.
